Permanent printing plate according to your ideas
Permanent pressure plates offer a simple and very durable use. It is a flame retardant composite of phenolic resin and paper. The pressure plate is roughened on both sides and can therefore be used on both sides! The pressure plate is delivered completely ready for use. The build plate comes with a slight bend, this is desired to create a flat print surface. Simply place the plate on the print bed so that the corners protrude and press it onto the print bed with clamps. This process will need to be repeated over time as the heat will warp the sheet.
Filaments with which the permanent pressure plate can be used:
PLA -- very good adhesion
PETG -- very good adhesion
ABS -- moderate adhesion -- apply thin layer of dissolved filament with acetone
ASA -- moderate adhesion -- apply thin layer of dissolved filament with acetone
GreenTec -- good adhesion
NYLON (PA) -- good adhesion
PP -- good adhesion
Cleaning the plate:
Always make sure that the permanent printing plate is absolutely free of grease, otherwise the adhesive properties will be affected.
Plastic residues should also be removed beforehand.
We recommend cleaning the plate with acetone or isopropanol. Always remove this from the printer and wipe the plate with a heavily soaked cloth.
After the cleaning agent has evaporated completely, the plate can be used again. Please note the manufacturer's instructions for using cleaning agents.
